Fire and Safety Training

This update provides an overview of Fire/Safety requirements for all RNs & ENs working in health care facilities. Extra time is spent on Fire warden responsibilities for RN in charge A/H at aged care facilities. How to recognise smoke detectors from heat detectors, fire doors from smoke doors and whether the building has fire compartments or not. This course is provided as an annual update for RNs & ENs

All participants are required to complete a short questionnaire to show they have understood the information provided. A certificate of competency is issued 2-3 weeks after the course.
