Q. Why should I join Nursing Australia
A. As a member of one of the largest nursing agencies in Australia you will be exposed to a large number of shifts, offering flexibility and variety. Nursing Australia have been operational for over 30 years and have the experience required to ensure that you receive the work you need, at the rate you want, when it suits you.

Q. Do I have to work a certain number of shifts to remain a member of Nursing Australia?
A. No. We believe Agency Nursing is all about you, and therefore you can make yourself available as much or as little as you like!

Q. How much experience do I require to join Nursing Australia?
A. In order to ensure that you are not placed in an unsuitable environment or situation, all potential nurses are required to have One year’s full time experience in your chosen field and relevant qualifications. Carers and support staff require a minimum of 6 months full time work within their chosen field with a Certificate 3 qualification.

Q. Will it cost me anything to join Nursing Australia?
A. No, it is free of charge to join.

Q. Do I need qualifications to work as a PCA/PSA/Nursing Assistant?
A. Yes, the minimum requirement (along with one year's full time experience post qualification) is a certificate III in a healthcare discipline. You can contact your local TAFE or Training institution in regards to completing your certificate III.

Q. Will Nursing Australia provide me with a reference?
A. Nursing Australia can not provide you with a verbal reference, however on your request we can organise a statement of service or a letter of employment to be posted to you.

Q. How much will I get paid?
A. The pay rates vary from state to state and from facility to facility. Your local Nurse Consultant will be more than willing to discuss this further with you when you drop in to one of the conveniently located recruitment offices.

Q. I have booked an appointment with Nursing Australia, what do I need to bring with me to ensure that I can start earning money as soon as possible?
A. The important items you need to have with you at your appointment are listed below. Having these documents will allow Nursing Australia to assess your skills for the best possible work placements, process your application efficiently and ensure that you are earning extra $$$ as soon as possible.

A. You will need to contact the Universities in your state to find out more information on the courses on offer to study Nursing.
